ARTICLE II Objects

The Club is established for the purpose of promoting the breed by the holding of shows, of encouraging the breeding of quality in Chow Chows, of defining precisely and publishing a description of the true type or standard by which Chow Chows are to be judged, of doing all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the Breed, of encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, and of exercising the Corporate powers vested in the Club by the Certificate of Incorporation of the laws of New York, the State in which it is incorporated.
